AJ Summit - COVID-19 Update
In light of the growing public health concerns around the COVID-19 coronavirus, we are currently looking into moving the AJ Summit to a date later in the year.
As the event date nears and the concern over the spread of the coronavirus in the UK continues to escalate, we realise that the responsible thing to do is postpone the event to later in 2020 when we hope that this crisis will have passed. Our participants’ health and safety, and that of our own teams, is our number one priority, and we are sure that you would agree.
We are of course hoping that you will be able to join us at the AJ Summit in the same capacity once we have the new date/venue fixed and we will be sure to keep you posted on this.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions, and we do apologise for any inconvenience caused.
In association with the AJ’s RetroFirst campaign, AJ Summit 2020 will focus on putting sustainability into practice.
AJ Summit 2020 will focus on how architects can respond to the climate emergency by embracing the whole-life carbon agenda and the principles of the circular economy. AJ Summit will host a series of talks, panels and case studies highlighting how architects, clients and project partners can collaborate to achieve positive design outcomes and work towards net-zero architecture.
Over 700 architecture practices have signed up to Architects Declare, acknowledging the enormous transformation required by the construction industry to tackle the looming threat of climate change. These practices have pledged to create an industry that has a more positive impact on the world around us. But what happens next? How can we realistically work towards this?
AJ Summit presents an exceptional opportunity for architects to learn how to incorporate climate-responsible working methods into everyday practice.
